How to Write a Blog Post in Simple Steps
Blogging is not just a passion; it’s now a proven business model. You can write blog posts in just a few simple steps.
1. Choose your Topic
The very step of blogging and writing content is to choose your topic clearly. Many newbies made this mistake. They just follow what other bloggers are doing. It leads to failure. Why? Because you choose the niche for just copying what others are doing? There is no value from your side.
A Niche or topic can be anything that you are passionate about and have good knowledge and experience.
To make the job easier you can also narrow down the niche or your topic. Let’s say Technology is a vast niche and you can narrow down it by choosing a micro niche like android where you can share the latest tips and tricks related to Andriod devices and so on…
2. Write an Outline of Your Post
You can write an outline of your post to make sure what type of information you want to put on your post.
List your post title and the key points you want to put in your post. These key points will likely become separate sections, each with its own header and subheaders.
You can start your blog posts with an introduction, which is then followed by body sections and then finally, the conclusion. You can also use bullet points and header tags to make the post more users friendly.
Once you finish, then it’s time to start writing! There are plenty of great and free tools that you can use to write a blog post, like Google Docs and WriteRoom.
3. Research Keywords for your Blog Post
Keyword research plays a great role in ranking a blog post in search engines. You need to find the right and powerful keywords for your blog post to get a targeted audience for your blog post.
There are plenty of keyword research tools out there like ahrefs, SEMRush, and Google keyword planner. You can use these tools to brainstorm some best keywords for your blog.
You can start by choosing low completion keywords and gradually raise your keyword difficulty. I personally prefer to target long-tail keywords to cut down competition and rank well in search engines.
4. Make your Paragraph Short
When you write your blog posts try to keep your paragraph short. It will bring a good reading experience for your readers.
A short paragraph helps readers to understand the points and topic easily. People don’t like to read big sentences and paragraphs. Even for good ranking in search engines try to cut down your long paragraphs into short ones.
5. Use images in your Blog Posts
Images speak a thousand words. It’s obvious human nature that visuals help humans to understand the topic easily.
Adding images to your blog post is a very user-friendly approach. You can also add the alt tag to your blog post images to make them SEO friendly.
Here, you need to keep a few things in mind and add only relevant images that justify your content. Otherwise, it won’t make any sense.

Before making your Post live on your blog, Make sure that you have proofread to check spelling and Grammar mistakes.
You can ask your friend and colleagues to check out your content before making it live on your blog. You can also use third-party tools to check the spelling and grammar mistakes on your blog.
